Senior Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior CBT Therapist or Psychologist to join our team as a Lead Therapist in a specialized six-bed OCD unit at a leading private mental health hospital in Central London.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care. As a Lead Therapist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote a supportive and effective community ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the 6 bed OCD unit, ensuring exceptional patient care and outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and provide clinical oversight to enhance quality of care.
- Work directly with patients, conducting group and one-to-one sessions, and manage a small caseload.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster a culture of support and excellence.
- Report on clinical outcomes and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise 2 CBT therapists and 1 Occupational Therapist.
About You:
- Clinical/Counselling Psychologist (HCPC) or CBT therapist (BABCP accredited)
- Proven leadership experience and skills
- A strong background working in inpatient settings, particularly with complex OCD/BDD cases
- Commitment to 3-4 days per week on-site, including bank holidays
Benefits Package:
- Competitive salary range £50,000 - £60,000 depending on qualifications
