Job Title: Carpenter Multitrade

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Multitrade to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. as a temporary worker. The successful candidate will be working closely with a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Carpenter/Multitrade on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To carry out multiskilled works as instructed by the Supervisor, ensuring excellent standards of completion.
  • To plan and organize workload to maximize productive time and ensure the best service to customers, including dealing with urgent and emergency repairs and meeting appointments and targets.
  • To promptly inform the scheduler/planner/supervisor of any unanticipated problems or delays that may impact on appointments for that day, allowing for rescheduling of work.
  • To provide regular updates and information to supervisors/scheduler planner team and other colleagues to assist with ordering of materials, planning, and scheduling of work.
  • To report any follow-on or related repair works identified with the customer, providing sufficient detail to ensure an accurate further works order is raised on the system.
Requirements:
  • Recognized C&G Apprentice training in Multiskilling NVQ level 3.
  • Multiskills training to a minimum of NVQ 3 or a willingness to be trained to the standard of requirements needed when employed by LBI.
  • Demonstrates the ability to organize own workload appropriately, prioritizing ordering necessary materials and plant, and working unsupervised for long periods of time.

  • The successful candidate should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • The candidate should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
