Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter/Multiskilled Tradesperson to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. as a temporary worker on a 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out a range of multiskilled tasks, including carpentry, maintenance, and repairs, as instructed by the Supervisor, to an excellent standard.
  • To plan and organize workload to maximize productive time and ensure the best service to customers, including dealing with urgent and emergency repairs.
  • To promptly inform the Scheduler/Planner/Supervisor of any unanticipated problems or delays that may impact on appointments for that day.
  • To provide regular updates and information to supervisors, scheduler planners, and other colleagues to assist with ordering of materials, planning, and scheduling of work.
  • To report any follow-on or related repair works identified with the customer, providing sufficient detail to ensure an accurate further works order is raised on the system.

Requirements:

  • Recognized C&G Apprentice training in Multiskilling NVQ level 3.
  • Multiskills training to a minimum of NVQ 3 or a willingness to be trained to the standard of requirements needed when employed by Brackenberry Ltd.
  • Demonstrates the ability to organize your own workload appropriately, prioritizing ordering necessary materials and plant, and working unsupervised for long periods of time.

Important Notes:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
