Childrens Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a highly committed team at a childrens home in Middlesex.
As a Deputy Manager, you will assist the Registered Manager in maintaining the smooth and effective running of the home. This includes leading by example, managing and guiding the team to deliver exceptional care to children and young people.
You will also support childrens physical, psychological, and emotional development in a safe and nurturing environment. Ensuring the home complies with regulatory requirements, including Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards, is a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registered Manager in maintaining the home
- Lead by example and manage the team
- Support childrens development and well-being
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Step into the Managers role during absences
To be successful, you will have at least 2 years experience working in a childrens home, with supervisory responsibilities. You will hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People and demonstrate a strong understanding of the Childrens Homes Regulations, safeguarding, and inspection frameworks.
You will also possess excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Clearcare Solutions is advantageous.
