About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our Algorithmic Research team at Man Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms to maximize P&L across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality predictive models using machine learning techniques
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Collaborate with researchers and traders to develop and optimize trading strategies
  • Develop and maintain complex algorithms to execute trades efficiently
  • Conduct market impact modeling and analysis to inform trading decisions
  • Work closely with the technology team to develop and implement new tools and systems
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes

Requirements

  • PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, computer science)
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or C++
  • Experience with machine learning and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
