Multi-Asset Quantitative Researcher

Mason Blake is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Research Analyst to join our Multi-Asset investment team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting quantitative research and analysis within the multi-asset solution space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement algorithmic portfolio execution strategies based on academic and in-house quantitative research.
  • Develop machine learning and portfolio optimization models.
  • Analyse both qualitative and quantitative data in relation to portfolio holdings.
  • Lead research into signal generation and portfolio risk/return optimization.
  • Prepare reports on wider investment trends and communicate with the investment team on both high-level ideas and deep dive research.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience as a quantitative research analyst on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Experience and knowledge of applying machine learning techniques to financial datasets.
  • Excellent quantitative research and programming skills (Python, R, SQL).
  • Ideally CFA or CQF qualification.
