Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our research team at Alexander Ash Consulting. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation of quantitative research models and work closely with quantitative analysts and researchers to develop and integrate models, algorithms, analytics, and research tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing quantitative research frameworks in Python, including integrating models, algorithms, analytics, and research tools.
  • Working closely with quantitative analysts and researchers to develop and integrate models, algorithms, analytics, and research tools.
  • Collaborating with the research team to design and implement quantitative research models.
  • Developing and maintaining software development lifecycle and practices, including CI/CD.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to the research team.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of commercial or post-graduation experience, ideally in financial markets.
  • Strong Python skills, including data analysis libraries and visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, Pandas, NumPy).
  • Buy-side background, preferably with exposure to portfolio construction and related areas.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and practices, including CI/CD.
  • Understanding of financial markets and products, ideally equities and derivatives.
  • Degree or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.

What We Offer:

A competitive daily rate of £450-£500, with the potential for the role to convert to permanent in the medium term. Based in London.
