Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and experienced ultrasound team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. As an Advanced Practitioner Ultrasonographer, you will be based at Broomfield Hospital, a busy District General Hospital, with rotation to two local Community Hospitals.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing a high-quality ultrasound service, including antenatal ultrasound services, general, small parts, paediatric, DVT, and MSK scanning. You will also provide support to the Early Pregnancy Unit, Urology, and Gynae clinics, and work alongside consultant radiologists on the Emergency Floor, scanning emergency and urgent inpatient cases.

About the Role

This is a challenging and varied role that requires a high level of specialist knowledge and skills. You will be working in a supportive environment with a friendly and sociable team of ultrasonographers who are committed to providing a high-quality imaging service.

Key Requirements
  • HCPC or NMC Registration
  • Higher qualification in US practice (Masters / PGC)
  • Additional specialist courses
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels
