Job Summary:
This role involves supporting our clients with their personal wellbeing, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and companionship. As a Home Care Assistant, you'll be working as part of a dedicated team to provide assistance with daily tasks, promoting independence and dignity for those we care for.
About the Role:
You will be assisting with personal care, including continence support, washing and dressing, managing medications, cooking or preparing hot meals, and helping with domestic tasks. Your responsibilities may also include providing companionship, reassurance, and joy to those you care for, making a significant impact on their lives.
What We Offer:
We have a flexible approach to shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and nights. You'll usually have every other weekend off for work-life balance. Our benefits package includes an enhanced bank holiday rate of £18 (with a Christmas & New Year rate of £24), holiday pay, pension scheme, free DBS/PVG, company mobile phone, uniform provided, paid mileage between visits at 30p, and access to our benefits & discounts platform WeCare, alongside being eligible for the Blue Light Card Scheme. Additionally, you'll have opportunities for career development through our industry-leading pathway, including the Care Certificate and NVQs. We also offer wellbeing support, including an employee assistance programme, mental health first aiders, healthcare cash plan, and free eye tests & contribution to the cost of glasses. Furthermore, you can earn extra income through our referral scheme Care Friends, where you can refer friends and family members to join our team and receive £500 per successful referral.
Requirements:
This role requires a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work. No previous experience is necessary, as we provide all the training you need to excel in this role. Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is around £12-£12.50 per hour, depending on the location and shift pattern. With our flexible approach to shifts and opportunities for overtime, you can increase your earnings potential.
