About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a special school in the Cheltenham area. The successful candidate will provide support to students with a wide range of special needs and disabilities, including ASD, SEMH, PMLD, and SLD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general classroom support and 1-1 support to students with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavioral support plans
  • Support students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the school's support plans
