Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our sales team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest by leveraging industry knowledge and our platform.
Responsibilities:
- Account Research and Outreach: Conduct thorough research on potential clients, identify key decision-makers, and develop effective strategies to engage them.
- Sales Opportunities: Source new sales opportunities through lead follow-up, cold calls, and emails within a given geographic market.
- Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs, communicate product features and benefits clearly, and consistently provide exceptional customer service.
- Data Management: Enter applicable data into our CRM database to track, analyze, and report opportunities.
- Prospect Ranking: Establish a ranking for each prospect in the database to represent their value to the organization.
- Book of Business: Maintain and expand your book of business through creative outreach strategies.
- Opportunity Routing: Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives with urgency for further development and closure.
- Event Support: Assist with pre-event confirmations and post-event follow up to keep prospects engaged.
- Information Requests: Follow up on Requests for Information and educate prospects and partners on value and return on investment.
- Channel Partnerships: Collaborate with channel partners to build pipeline and lead new business sales expansion.
- Team Culture: Contribute to a culture of accountability, adaptability, helpfulness, and focus to support customers, partners, and team members.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Completed Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Experience: 0 ‑ 1 years of inside sales experience or customer service experience.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Time Management: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Urgency: Strong sense of urgency and a competitive edge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CRM Experience: Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
- Quota Achievement: Track record of over-achieving quota.
- Phone Presence: Strong phone presence and experience in making 50+ cold calls a day.
- Productivity Tools: Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
- B2B Sales Experience: Face to face/B2B sales experience.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances. We offer a competitive compensation package, including uncapped commission and unmatched sales training.
