Technical Network Service Owner

A Role for the Ambitious

Are you an experienced individual with a strong technical network background, but a passion for managing 3rd party suppliers? Aviva is seeking a skilled Network Service Owner to join our team.

About the Job

As a Technical Network Service Owner, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of network technologies, including end-to-end enterprise connectivity and automation. You will identify technical options, present to less technical audiences, and provide technical leadership in project engagements.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and objectives, ensuring technology operations meet these needs. You will also work with business units to identify and implement processes and automation to drive operational efficiencies and resolve operational issues caused by technology.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Deep technical understanding and design experience in several areas, including SDWAN, SASE, LAN Switching, Wireless Networking, and Routing.
  • Broad vision of industry standards, recent technologies, and key market trends.
  • Experience in Network Automation, including tools and common scripting languages, as well as technical incident investigation and project governance.
  • Great understanding of packet level traffic analysis using tools like Wireshark.
  • Experience in 3rd party supplier management, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
