Job Title: Principal Nuclear Environmental Consultant

At Jacobs, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Nuclear Environmental Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our nuclear environmental team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance on environmental matters related to nuclear site permitting and operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise on environmental matters related to nuclear site permitting and operations.
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead bid leadership and proposal preparation activities, ensuring that environmental considerations are fully integrated into the proposal.
  • Manage time and priorities effectively, working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communicate complex technical information to stakeholders, including colleagues, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Actively pursuing or holding relevant Chartership.
  • Recognised technical leadership within the industry.
  • Practical experience of environmental management on nuclear sites.
  • Willingness to travel on business, including sites across the UK and overseas.
