- A degree in an environmental, physical science, or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Significant experience in a comparable role, with a good working knowledge of relevant regulations for nuclear site permitting and operations.
- Experience of bid leadership and proposal preparation, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and priorities while working on several varied projects, with good people skills and a willingness to travel on business.
Additionally, the following desirable qualities would be advantageous:
- Actively pursuing or holding relevant Chartership.
- Recognised technical leadership within the industry.
- Practical experience of environmental management on nuclear sites.
