Job Title: Environmental Consultant for Nuclear Sites

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Environmental Specialist to join our team at Jacobs.

About the Role:

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to lead environmental management on nuclear sites, leveraging their expertise in regulations, proposal preparation, and stakeholder engagement.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective environmental management plans for nuclear sites.
  • Leverage your knowledge of relevant regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Lead bid teams and prepare high-quality proposals that showcase your technical expertise.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Your Ideal Background:

  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience in environmental, physical science, or engineering discipline.
  • Significant experience in a comparable role, with a good working knowledge of nuclear site permitting and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in tailoring outputs for different stakeholders.
