Nuclear Environmental Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Environmental Specialist to join our team at Jacobs.

About the Job:

This is a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in environmental management to a challenging role in the nuclear industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead environmental management efforts on nuclear sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  2. Develop and implement effective environmental management plans, leveraging your expertise in regulations and proposal preparation.
  3. Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results and achieve project objectives.

Your Ideal Background:

  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience in environmental, physical science, or engineering discipline.
  • Significant experience in a comparable role, with a good working knowledge of nuclear site permitting and operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in tailoring outputs for different stakeholders.
