We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team at Inspired Pet Nutrition in Thirsk, North Yorkshire.
Job SummaryThis is a permanent position working in our busy Vendor Flex Distribution Centre. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and dispatching pet food products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Picking and packing pet food products using a scanner
- General warehouse duties, including inventory control and maintenance
- Following safety instructions and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Working in a fast-paced team environment to meet customer demands
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
- FLT Counterbalance experience is desirable
- Physical fitness to lift up to 25kg and work on your feet for long periods
- Good level of numeracy and literacy to enable correct labelling of products
- Overtime up to 12 hours per week: time and a half
- Overtime after 12 hours per week: double time
