Electrical Verification Team Member

This permanent role will see you working as part of the Electrical Verification Team, involved in the verification and validation of power systems, conducting analysis, and performing calculations to support the maturity and design of electrical platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct load flow, short circuit, and stability analysis of an electrical power system
  • Manage and analyze the electrical load budget
  • Develop and validate electrical models
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to the power system
  • Prepare technical reports, calculations, and presentations communicating results and advising recommendations
  • Develop and mentor other team members
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis
  • Understanding of power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB)
  • Stakeholder management experience
