About the Role

The Operations Shift Coordinator will oversee an area of the production process during the shift, leading a team of operatives to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) and customer expectations are met in full and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of colleagues on the shift to ensure that shift KPIs are met in full and on time
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement
  • Schedule and assign tasks to team members, monitoring their performance, and providing constructive feedback
  • Deal with day-to-day queries from colleagues, liaising with HR and training teams as required
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on production, food safety data, and analyze this data to identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that food safety and health and safety standards are met and sustainably maintained
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment
  • Practical knowledge and experience in an operational environment
  • Experience in an FMCG food manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment or distribution center environment
  • Proven knowledge of warehouse and production environments
