Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the distribution operations at HelloFresh. As an Outbound Shift Manager, you will be leading a team to ensure efficient and accurate distribution of our products, managing the distribution shift, and optimizing processes to meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of colleagues to achieve shift KPIs and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Develop and engage the team to achieve optimum performance and meet their full potential.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures in all distribution activities.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance distribution processes to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Ensure all outgoing orders meet quality standards and perform regular audits and inspections.
  • Role model the Company's DNA and ensure it is followed by the team.
  • Deal with day-to-day queries from colleagues and liaise with HR and Training Teams as required.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records on production, food safety data, and analyze this data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of operations.
  • Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained.
  • Undertake basic problem-solving activities and escalate to the Distribution Manager where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
  • Effectively coordinate the service to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Undertake audits and follow through on actions regarding compliance to Food Safety, Health & Safety Standards, and other specified standards.
  • Lead or be involved in ad-hoc projects as and when required.
  • Champion key Company strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in distribution management.
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software applications.
  • Proficient in G-Suite.
  • Solid awareness of distribution processes and quality control practices.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices, with a commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead by example and ensure that HelloFresh DNA is at the forefront of everything we do.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.

Shift Pattern

4 on 3 off either Sunday to Wednesday. (This role will be rotating onto a night shift pattern in the future)
