Residential Surveyor Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Residential Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property valuation and surveying, with experience in producing mortgage and other valuations, as well as Level 2 and Level 3 surveys.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, producing detailed reports, and using software and free text reports for Building Condition Surveys. A strong understanding of tablet technology and software such as Quest, RightMove Surveyor Comparable tool, and Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) reinstatement valuation is essential.

The Residential Surveyor will be based in one of our offices in London, Bristol/Bath, or Southampton/Bournemouth/Portsmouth and will be expected to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections and visits
  • Produce mortgage and other valuations
  • Undertake Level 2 (Homebuyers) and Level 3 (Building Condition) surveys
Requirements:
  • MRICS or FRICS qualified
  • Experience in producing mortgage valuations, Red Book valuations, RICS Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, development appraisals, Party Wall Awards, and project management
  • Based locally to one of our offices in London, Bristol/Bath, or Southampton/Bournemouth/Portsmouth
