Construction Site Supervisor - Environmental Projects

Region of Severn Trent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a designated area of construction activities on a daily basis, including the management and oversight of the site personnel and supply chain.
  • Organize, direct, and assess the advancement of the construction tasks while coordinating the assigned segments of the project.
  • Handle various work packages alongside the financial team, taking complete responsibility for the budget of the assigned work section.
  • Identify and manage any alterations in scope related to operations, finances, scheduling, or design.
  • Implement value engineering strategies to enhance project efficiency.
  • Participate in external meetings with clients and stakeholders as necessary, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Provide updates to the Project Manager regarding progress and performance metrics.

Essential Requirements:

  • Capable of managing multiple or larger work packages effectively.
  • Skilled in collaborating with site teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized with the capacity to prioritize various tasks.

Qualifications:

  • SMSTS certification.
  • Appropriate CSCS card.
  • Accountable for conducting Performance Development Reviews for all direct reports.
  • Relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
