Job Title: Construction Site Manager

Severn Trent Water is seeking a highly skilled Construction Site Manager to lead our day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met.
  • Site Operations: Lead day-to-day site operations, managing all on-site activities and subcontractors.
  • Quality and Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, materials, and quality standards.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and problem-solving.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide accurate progress reporting and address any project challenges proactively.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on water or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of water and wastewater systems, civil engineering, and construction methodologies.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Travel: Full UK driving license and the flexibility to travel to various sites within the Severn Trent region.
