About William Ellis School

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to lead our outdoor education programme. The successful candidate will join a well-established team of specialist PE teachers and contribute to the development of a strong network of subject specialists across Camden LA.

Our outdoor education programme is highly valued by students, teachers, and families alike. We offer annual residential trips for Key Stage 3 and have a high participation rate in the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, with many students progressing to Silver and Gold. Our vision is to equip students with the skills needed to become well-rounded young adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an exciting outdoor education programme, incorporating various activities and trips.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other stakeholders to integrate outdoor education into the curriculum.
  • Maintain relationships with external partners and schools to enhance programme opportunities.
