About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Building Liaison Officer. As the first point of contact for applicants who enquire to foster with us, you will be responsible for building rapport with potential Foster Parents, providing information and screening applicants for suitability.

You will guide new applicants on the benefits of fostering with Fostering People, taking them through an initial screening process and highlighting transferable skills they can bring to the role. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal communication skills, the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, and a willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to applicants and potential Foster Parents
  2. Screen applicants for suitability and guide them through the initial screening process
  3. Highlight transferable skills and benefits of fostering with Fostering People
  4. Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives
  5. Utilize CRM system to record and manage interactions with applicants
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • A friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Enthusiasm and desire for engaging with customers
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work and communicate as part of a team
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs
