About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head of Analytics to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Intelligence & Insight Service, you will play a crucial role in shaping our service delivery of data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of changes to insights and intelligence across all organisations within Dorset's ICS, and beyond.
  • Develop and implement Power BI reporting solutions to support business intelligence and population health management.
  • Build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive business outcomes.
  • Identify areas, processes, and risks needing attention or improvement, and develop solutions to address them.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the DiiS analytical team, and contribute to the development of the team's skills and services.
Requirements
  • Graduate with a high level of numeracy and educated to degree level.
  • Recognised qualifications in project management or business intelligence analysis, and experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area.
  • Substantial experience in a leading data and analytics role in a customer-focused organisation, with knowledge and experience of developing and implementing Power BI reporting solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including building effective relationships and influencing others, and strong analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to communicate complex information in an understandable format at all levels, and demonstrable skills in written and spoken English.
