Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Semi Senior to join our team in a full-time, permanent capacity. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be diligent in their work, and have a strong analytical mindset.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for companies, sole traders, and partnerships, including tax returns and calculations.
  • Manage your own workflow to meet company year-end and other client deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough examination and analysis of client financial records, resolving any queries in collaboration with clients.
  • Process and post financial figures using VT Final Accounts software.
  • Prepare all underlying schedules (financial working papers).
  • Prepare financial statements for review by senior staff.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of two years' experience in accounts preparation.
  • High abilities in Maths and English.
  • Highly motivated, proactive person with good organization and communication skills, as well as the ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Dynamic with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and able to apply a hands-on approach to their work.
