About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Semi Senior to join our team at Purple Business and Personal Accountants. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and calculations for various business entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage your own workflow to meet company deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct thorough examination and analysis of client financial records, resolving any discrepancies or queries in collaboration with clients.
  • Process and post financial transactions using accounting software.
  • Prepare underlying schedules and working papers to support financial statements.
  • Prepare financial statements for review by senior staff.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years experience in accounts preparation.
  • High abilities in Maths and English.
  • Highly motivated, proactive person with good organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • Dynamic with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
