**Job Title:** Personal Care Assistant

**Location:** Poynton, SK12

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant to support a young lady with a variety of day-to-day and social activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for encouraging the individual to learn new skills and promote their independence.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Accompany the individual to college and social classes
  • Assist with accessing social activities such as the cinema, eating out, swimming, or bowling
  • Drive the individual to college, activities, and appointments or accompany them on public transport as required
  • Occasional evening work may be required as and when needed

**Requirements:**

  • Interest in music, craft work, and board games would be useful
  • Honest, trustworthy, and reliable
  • Respect the individual's privacy and maintain their dignity at all times
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Access to a vehicle with Business Insurance (Class 1)
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure

**Working Arrangements:**

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, which will be funded through the employer. The successful candidate will be directly employed by the customer and not by PeoplePlus.
