About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a key member of our support team, you will provide high-quality care and support to a young lady with complex health needs in her own home in Poynton.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a caring and supportive relationship with our client and her family.
  • Provide healthcare support, including personal care, medication administration, nutrition, and moving and handling, following instruction from senior team members.
  • Be available to take part in the on-call rota when required.
  • Provide social and emotional support within the home and support the client to access the community and attend local activities.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and caring. You must be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to use your own initiative. Due to the nature of the position, we are looking for candidates who can offer flexibility within their availability.

Requirements

  • Car drivers with a full clean driving license and willing to drive the client's wheelchair-accessible vehicle (manual gears) are essential.
  • Candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes.
  • Reasonable fitness and ability to participate in indoor and outdoor physical activities with the client.
