Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to contribute to the project Compact, High-Resolution 3D Vision within the Institute for Integrated Micro and Nano Systems at the University of Edinburgh.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 11 months, working 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement image and/or signal processing algorithms in software and on FPGA, ideally in real-time applications.
  • Collaborate with researchers and industry professionals from different disciplines or technical backgrounds.
  • Work independently, exercising a high degree of initiative, and demonstrating a pro-active and flexible approach to work.
  • Communicate effectively through oral, written, and presentation of data.
Requirements
  • A good undergraduate degree and a PhD in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area.
  • Experience in implementing image and/or signal processing algorithms in software and on FPGA, ideally in real-time applications.
