Asset Protection Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our Loss Prevention team at NEXT Retail Ltd.
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment, providing a visible presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Store Teams to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees and customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
- Identify high-risk areas and implement strategies to deter loss.
- Work closely with Store Management to ensure adherence to company Loss Prevention standards.
- Perform additional duties as required by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, including surveillance, auditing, and support at other stores.
About You:
- Previous security experience in a retail environment is preferred, but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and varying shifts.
- Travel will be required to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable commuting distance from your home address.
- You are committed to maintaining a safe environment for Store Teams and customers.
- You are well-organized and able to work effectively in a fast-paced store environment.
- You are a hard worker, self-motivated, and able to use your initiative.
- You are a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with Store Teams, law enforcement, and customers.
- You are flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
- You are comfortable using IT systems and computers.
