Consultant Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of medical conditions, including diabetes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Diabetes MDT clinics and participate in the weekly diabetes MDT meeting
- Undertake consultant of the week duties on a 1:10 basis at Conquest Hospital
- Participate in non-resident cross-site on-call responsibilities (1:10) in addition to SSPAU shifts at the Conquest and DGH
- Develop and implement high-quality clinical services for children and young people with diabetes

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Consultant Paediatrician who has:
- MBBS or equivalent Full registration with GMC and a licence to practice
- Holds CCT or equivalent or will obtain within 6 months of interview date
- MRCPCH
- Valid Level 3 Safeguarding training
Desirable qualifications include:
- Distinctions, Scholarships prizes, other degrees eg BSc MSc, MS
- SPIN Module in Diabetes
