About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of medical conditions, including diabetes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Diabetes MDT clinics and participate in weekly diabetes MDT meetings
  • Provide expert care to children and young people with diabetes, including those with complex needs
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies

Person Specification
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Full registration with GMC and a licence to practice
  • CCT or equivalent in Paediatrics
  • MRCPCH qualification
  • Valid Level 3 Safeguarding training
