Consultant Paediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to children and young people, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical care to children and young people, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a range of conditions.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and other doctors, to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Conduct research and participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and educate junior doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a licence to practice.
- Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent in Paediatrics.
- MRCPCH qualification.
- Valid Level 3 Safeguarding training.
- Distinctions, Scholarships, or other degrees, such as BSc or MSc.
- SPIN Module in Diabetes.
- Experience of leading audit projects.
- Experience of personal research projects and their presentation.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- A sympathetic approach to patients and relatives.
- Ability to establish good professional relations with others.
- Common sense and enthusiasm.
