About the Job

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Teaching Support Professional to join our team at ACADEMICS in Redbridge, London. As an Educational Support Worker - SEN, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning needs.

You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to assist in the development and implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs), provide one-on-one and small group support, and adapt learning resources and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

Job Description:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHCPs for students with ASD and other learning needs
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt learning resources and teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and valued
  • Monitor and track student progress, reporting back to the SEN coordinator and teachers
