Project Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Professional to join our team at iO Associates. As a PMO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation's Project Management framework.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to lead resource planning and forecast demand across cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for managing project documentation, schedules, and budgets, ensuring compliance with PMO processes and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Facilitate effective collaboration among stakeholders and project managers through regular meetings and communication
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in project management within the PMO
Your key responsibilities as a PMO Manager will include:
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinating and facilitating project meetings, workshops, and other events
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
- Providing guidance and support to project managers and team members
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent level of qualification/experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Project Management or PMO roles, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
