About the Role

Berkshire Primary Care Ltd is seeking a Vaccination Practitioner to support our Autumn Flu and Covid vaccination campaign. As a Vaccinator, you will be responsible for vaccinating our local population against Covid-19.

Key Responsibilities

• Vaccinate our local population against Covid-19

• Work to the Prescription Only Medicine (POM) General Sales List (GSL) and supply and administer vaccines under a Patient Group Direction (PGD)

• Provide a safe environment for vaccination

Requirements

• Registered healthcare professionals who can legally supply and administer vaccines under a PGD

• Must have core knowledge in vaccine storage, administration, infection prevention and control, recognising and managing anaphylaxis, and basic life support

• Must have safeguarding adults and children training

• Must have a shift pattern of 5 hour shifts: 9am to 2pm or 2pm to 7pm
