Electrical Supervisor Opportunity

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electrical, BMS, and automation systems, as well as nurse call and fire alarm systems, in accordance with current electrical regulations
  • Act as a tradesman and share expertise with other trades staff
  • Promote a flexible approach and encourage cooperation and versatility of skills
  • Accept delegate responsibilities when necessary to advise and liaise with other departments
  • Follow management systems and work order procedures to ensure the organization meets contractual KPIs
  • Liaise with and assist contractors as required, issuing Permits to Work and necessary paperwork
  • Advise, communicate, and work with statutory inspectors and contractors on various systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • Undertake complex fault diagnosis and fault rectification across the site

Requirements for Success:

  • Experience working as a craftsperson in a commercial or publicly used building
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Able to carry out in-depth fault finding on complex electrical and mechanical systems
  • IT literate with ability to use MS office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
