Financial Controller

De Vere Latimer Estate is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our hotel and events venue.
About the RoleWe are looking for a Financial Controller who can work closely with our Dual Site Finance Director to develop and implement our finance strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate financial reports, including forecasting revenue, costs, and profitability
- Monitoring the correct billing of revenues and cash control
- Ensuring efficient control systems are in place for forecasting and controlling expenditure, including payroll and gross margins
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant financial qualification or be currently working towards one
- Knowledge and experience of hospitality, either in an operational role or a more junior finance position
- Proficiency in using financial management software and Microsoft Office, with intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a bonus incentive scheme with the opportunity to earn up to 10% of salary based on business performance. Other benefits include:
