Marc Daniels is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team in a leading manufacturing company.
This is a permanent hybrid role (2-3 days in the office) that requires a strong background in management accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a timely and efficient monthly close process, including accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate financial transactions are recorded and reported into the system, including banking, invoices, and journals.
- Take full responsibility for the credit control function, ensuring timely payments and minimizing bad debts.
- Provide support with cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with key managers to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
- Implement a new accounting system to enhance efficiency and productivity in the finance department.
Requirements:
- Ability to commute to the office location.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in preparing management accounts.
- Partially or fully qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or QBE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Xero experience is highly desirable.
