Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team at Northumberland County Council. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of registered nurses and social care staff, ensuring high standards of care and treatment are maintained.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a full complement of FTE registered nurses and FTE social care staff.
- Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice within the service in accordance with operational policy.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to achieve service objectives and quality standards.
- Relevant nursing qualification (RNLD) with significant post-registration experience.
- Ability to work shift rotas, including weekends and night-time working.
- Capacity to meet the transport requirements of the role.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
