Job Title: Night Support Assistant (Supported Housing)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: £24,627 per annum, plus 10% night shift allowance

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Working Pattern: 4 nights on, 4 nights off

This role does not involve providing personal care. The role is to support vulnerable adults at risk of homelessness.

About the Role

We are seeking a Night Support Assistant to join our team at Jamaica Street Hostel in Bristol. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a committed team to deliver an outstanding service during the night.

You will assist the support team in putting customers first and empowering them to achieve their goals and aspirations. This will include a range of tasks that contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the day-to-day service.

About You
  • You will have an understanding of the barriers faced by vulnerable and diverse customer groups and individuals with complex needs.
  • You will have experience of working in a team and communicating positively with other people.
  • You will have the ability to organise tasks and plan accordingly whilst dealing with people.
  • You will have basic administrative and IT skills to maintain records.
  • Experience of working with vulnerable and diverse customer groups or individuals with complex needs would be an advantage.
