About the Role
Catering Department Manager at Arena Racing Company
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

The Catering Department Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation of catering and events at Royal Windsor Racecourse. The role involves instructing and managing teams to coordinate and facilitate events hosted at the racecourse to the highest possible standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Executive Director and catering team members to deliver the annual budget for all catering department income and expenditure.
* Delivery of raceday spend per head, raceday labour costs and non-raceday labour costs in accordance with budgets.
* Ensure accurate production of documentation for monthly management accounts including monthly stock take, labour analysis, analysis of outlet by outlet takings.
* Propose innovative product offerings, develop packages and sales strategies to achieve both raceday and non-raceday income targets.
* Maximise profit for all raceday and non-raceday events.
* Deliver all raceday and non-raceday events to a high standard.
* Instruct, supervise and assist direct reports in their relevant duties.

Requirements
* Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage staff.
* Proficient in IT in Word and Excel.
* Good communication skills.
* 2 years experience in similar catering and events manager position.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
* Advance knowledge of food principles and practices.
