About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering Excellence to join our team at Trilitech.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the technical vision and strategy of our engineering units within the Tezos ecosystem.

You will oversee an engineering function of around 30, including managers and engineers, developing tooling, infrastructure, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.

Working closely with the Co-Founder of Tezos, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical roadmap, drive innovation, and ensure the robust development of our blockchain technology.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to drive Tezos towards mainstream adoption and foster collaboration and technical excellence within the engineering function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and mentorship to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability across the engineering function.
  • Define and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the Tezos Roadmap and objectives.
  • Champion delivery focus and operational excellence while being rigorously customer-centric.
  • Stay on top of emerging technologies and trends within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space, selecting technologies and tools to optimize performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with other senior leaders, including Product, Marketing, and Commercial, to foster strong cross-functional partnerships in the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Establish and enforce data-driven quality standards and best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Own the management of resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
