Our high staffing levels allow us to build trust and work at the pace of the individual, leading to improved person-centred and longer-term outcomes. We have 80 large bedrooms across seven units, each with an en-suite.

Job Description

This is a highly skilled nursing role where you will be responsible for supporting people's holistic needs. You will require a range of clinical and nursing skills to provide the highest standards of nursing care for adults living with complex care and health needs.

As a Registered Nurse at Exemplar Health Care, you will be accountable and responsible for assessing, planning, and providing person-centred nursing care for the people we support. You will need to promote health and wellbeing, administer medication safely, and manage situations when people display behaviours of concern.

Requirements

  • A first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.
  • A calm nature who can deal with and defuse challenging situations.
  • An advocate of best practice in nursing.
  • Able to demonstrate a range of clinical skills.
  • Knowledgeable about assessment, admission, and discharge processes.
  • Knowledgeable of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and committed to working within its Codes of Practice.
