Job Title: Claims & Complaints Compliance Lawyer

About the Role

Lipson Lloyd-Jones is seeking a highly skilled Claims & Complaints Compliance Lawyer to join our Governance & Risk team. As a key member of the team, you will play a significant role in providing legal and regulatory advice and guidance across the firm.

The successful candidate will have significant experience handling compliance, regulatory, or claims work and will have ideally worked for a law firm, financial institution, or regulator. Knowledge of conflicts of interest and financial crime would be highly desirable, ideally with experience of leading others and delivering training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal and regulatory advice and guidance across the firm.
  • Handle a range of risk and compliance issues, including conflicts of interest, AML and financial crime, data protection, SRA Accounts Rules, and claims and complaints.
  • Work closely with the Governance & Risk team to deliver training and guidance on risk and compliance matters.

Requirements

  • Significant experience handling compliance, regulatory, or claims work.
  • Ideal experience working for a law firm, financial institution, or regulator.
  • Knowledge of conflicts of interest and financial crime highly desirable.
  • Experience of leading others and delivering training highly desirable.
