Job Description
The Entry-Level Engineering Manager will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of new connection utility projects in the South West region. This position offers hands-on engineering experience, technical mentorship, and the opportunity to develop your skills while progressing to take on more complex engineering responsibilities. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with experienced Project Managers, Regional Managers, and the construction support team to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and scheduling onsite and offsite works to support project execution.
  • Help coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring they meet specifications and project requirements.
  • Support the forecasting and allocation of project resources under the guidance of senior engineers and Project Managers.
  • Uphold and promote a strong culture of Health, Safety, and Quality throughout all phases of project delivery.
  • Prepare and assist in the communication of project-specific Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Learn to track project financials, including monitoring cost variations and assisting with invoicing processes.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, including pre-start and progress reviews, to understand project timelines, costs, and requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, such as status updates, engineering reports, financial summaries, and technical plans.
  • Support the project closure process by aiding in the reconciliation of activities and costs.
