Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Williams Machinery is a leading provider of equipment services to various industries, including warehousing, construction, forestry, and recycling. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Surrey.
Compensation:
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an hourly wage of $46.87, which includes a pension contribution of $4.63 and extended medical and dental coverage. In addition, they will enjoy top-tier holidays and vacations.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to perform routine scheduled maintenance services, appraisals, and safety inspections on Material Handling and Heavy-Duty equipment. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on Spark Ignition LPG engines and systems, Compression Ignition engines, Hydraulic and electrical systems, and read schematics.
- Excel the customer experience by being professional at all times.
- Proactively seek opportunities to grow customer accounts while carrying out duties.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Must be willing to travel and complete jobs out of town as assigned.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have Red Seal Heavy-Duty Equipment or Automotive certification or equivalent experience in small construction and material handling with consistent exceptional customer service skills.
Work Environment:
The position is based out of our Surrey branch and works 40 hours on average per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that encourages growth and development.
