Atkins Search Limited is looking for an experienced Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join our team in the East of England. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and safety.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both reactive and preventative maintenance on all operational equipment and infrastructure. They will also be required to manage external contractors, review RAMS, provide permits to work, and oversee on-site activities to ensure safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be required to utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and document maintenance tasks while maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance Services: Deliver both reactive and preventative maintenance on all operational equipment and infrastructure.
  2. Contractor Coordination: Manage external contractors, review RAMS, provide permits to work, and oversee on-site activities to ensure safety and compliance.
  3. System Management: Utilize the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan and document maintenance tasks while maintaining accurate records.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to projects and adopt modern manufacturing practices such as Lean, Kanban, OEE, and TOC to enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Compliance & Safety: Collaborate with the SHEQ team to address audits, ensure adherence to GMP, COSHH, and ISO standards, and meet UK regulatory requirements.
